Last Thursday, a team of 10 children from year 4 and 5 took part in a Hockey Tournament at Oasis Academy Wintringham. These children only had 2 hours of training through a hockey masterclass in preparation for the tournament. There were 10 schools that took part and they were split into 2 groups. Out of our group of 5 schools, we came joint first place! Unfortunately it then went down to points and we came second place for our group. The children all did amazing and worked so well as a team. They have all now also been invited to attend a session ran by the Grimsby Hockey Club every Saturday morning! You all should we very proud of yourselves, you were excellent representatives for our school!
